Dolphins represented on Lions tour!

There have been many famous Welshmen to don the Dolphins jersey over the years, but none perhaps as legendary as Lions and Wales prop Graham Price.  Just how the 41 cap Welsh international got hold of the Dolphin jersey is a mystery, but he is thought to have toured the US with Pontypool during his heydays in the 70’s.

Price is pictured here during one of his three Lions tours, where he earned 12 successive test caps for the Lions vs. New Zealand, South Africa and New Zealand again in ’77, ’80 and 83 respectively.

If you can shed any light on the shirt was ‘acquired’, let us know at info@santamonicarugby.com  Thank you to Nathan Jones for his keen eye and for bringing this great pic. to the club’s attention
