2026 SPRING SEASON FEES

U16 $41 USA Rugby/ $325 SCYR/SMRC

U18 $41 USA Rugby/ $325 SCYR/SMRC

Fee includes fields for practice and games, club equipment, coaching, referees, athletic trainers at games, practice t-shirt and game day socks. Jerseys are provided on game day and returned. Rugby shorts available for purchase ($45). Email Beth to purchase. youth@santamonicarugby.com

REGISTRATION DIRECTIONS

Registration is a two-step process. (Detailed instructions below) For your child to play, they will need to be registered with:

1. USA Rugby (Rugby Xplorer); and

2. Southern California Youth Rugby (MatchFacts).

Please have the following digital items ready prior to beginning registration:

Player Photos – Passport style headshot (with no hat or sunglasses)
Birth Certificate or passport (For new players)

U9 (Flag): $205/$225

U10: $245 / $265

U12: $290 / $310

U14: $300/ $320

Ages 6 & 7 play flag rugby. 8 year olds have the option to play flag rugby or contact. Girls age 9 have the option to play an extra year of flag rugby. If your 8 year old would like to play flag please register under U8 Flag. If your 8 year old would like to play contact please register for U10. Cutoffs are based on your child’s age on September 1, 2025.

SCHOLARSHIPS / FINANCIAL AID

Santa Monica Youth Rugby Club is committed to growing the sport of rugby and making it available to all children within our area. If you require partial dues reduction or a full scholarship please reach out to us. We do not want finances to be the reason your child is not able to participate. Scholarship/financial aid is decided on a case-by-case basis. Please email Beth at youth@santamonicarugby.com to inquire for a reduction or scholarship for the Santa Monica Dues and fill out the form on So Cal Youth Rugby’s website for a reduction in their fees.
